Rawlings Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The pulpit was removed from a church in Clacton Essex and later converted to a reclining reading chair ,it has been engineered to a high standard and has recently been re upholstered in a very good quality soft leather .
The chair sits on hidden castors and moves very easily .
