Edwardian Silver & Amber Glass Scent Bottle by Robert Pringle & Sons, Chester 1909

Description

This delightful Edwardian silver scent bottle is dated Chester 1909 and was made by Robert Pringle & Sons. The cylindrical amber glass body fitted with a pull-off sterling silver sleeve. The fully hallmarked sleeve embossed with flower garlands surrounding a vacant reserve. The sleeve with a spot-hammered finish in the Arts & Craft manner. The neck fitted with a clear glass stopper.

RP for Robert Pringle & Sons.

Date letter "l" for 1909.

Chester Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Height: 11.5cm / 5 inches.

Diameter 4.5 cm / 1.5 inches.

Condition:

Glass in excellent condition.

Silver sleeve in good condition.
