Stylish pair of dome shaped base brass candlesticks with alternating panels of ‘premier-partie’ and ‘contre-partie’ stained scarlet red tortoiseshell and brass marquetry boulle-work inlay
Raised on square brass-mounted rosewood bases , reeded and turned stems with brass nozzles . The circular candlestick ‘drip-pans’ with corresponding red tortoiseshell and brass boulle inlay .
Probably manufactured and retailed by Aspeys , London .
In excellent original condition with no damage or losses .
