William IV Rosewood Lap Desk With Mother Of Pearl Inlay.
A classic style William IV Rosewood Lap Desk dating back to c.1830, featuring mother of pearl decorative inlaid flowers and foliage.
The key is for decoration and doesn’t work the lock.
Open the box to reveal a red releathered writing surface, three lidded compartments, a pen slope with section to the underneath and two inkwell sections including inkwells that are slightly worn.
The writing slope has a section underneath the writing surface with a stationary rack to the back of the lid.
The lap desk measures 40 x 26 and stands 9cm high.
