Description

Late Victorian Oak Games Table. Patented No. 7254 "The Eclipse". Beautifully crafted piece of English furniture. The figured oak top hides a pop up mechanism which lifts up your playing surface. Ideal for storing your game of chess etc. Carved decoration to the four aprons. The whole standing on charming tapered legs with interspersed capitals, terminating in pretty brass castors. Fitted plaque with name and patent number to the interior. A handsome and functional piece of antique furniture that would grace any interior. Width when opened is 104cm.
