This is a lovely small sized fruit wood apothecary jar.
It has its original shield shaped label on the front with the name ''COCCIONELL PULV'', translated means pulverised cochineal used to colour pills and potions. A large proportion of apothecary jars are glass or ceramic so its nice to have a wooden example.
