A stunning Edwardian Chinoiserie lacquered grandmother clock. The quality weight driven 8 day movement chiming on the hour and half hour and fully over hauled and cleaned. The case having superior quality chinoiserie raised lacquer gilded and painted decoration. The brass arched dial face with cast brass spandrels, silver plated chapter ring and conforming arch dial with “Tempus Fugit” (Time Flies). It has a 2 train movement with pendulum and brass cased weights. The whole in very good original condition. Dimensions:- Height…61’’/ 155cm. Width…13’’/ 30.5cm. Depth…8.75’’/ 22.5cm.
