Antique Dutch Walnut Blanket Trunk

1900 - 1920
Description

An impressive and very well made antique solid walnut and brass trunk. I think this made in Holland & would date it from around the 1920-30’s period.

The quality is amazing, this is very well designed and solidly built. The walnut has a beautiful colour and patina, the brass mounts are also very high quality, as are the carrying handles. It is a great size, offering lots of storage space and could also be used as bench for an entry way or at the end of a bed.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.

Depth – 22 inches , 56 cm

Height – 26 inches , 66 cm
