Small Six Plank Antique Elm Trunk

A well-presented small 19th century antique elm trunk or box. The rectangular shaped hinged lid opens to reveal a clean, spacious interior. The antique elm trunk is of simple form and constructed from six planks. Rather lovely colour and patina throughout.

Height – 33cm / Width – 87cm / Depth – 40cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the top and front (pictured). Small piece of beading missing to the base. Evidence of old historic wood worm in various places – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Wear to the beading around the top edge. Hinges appear original. Overall, a charming little six plank antique elm chest.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
