This is the daddy of true 1930s Art Deco clocks. Made in France by the very collectable JAZ Company, this clock screams everything about the Deco era we all love and admire, streamline, Industrial and modernist. The casing is a red mottled color, gleaming and shiny as the day it was first produced 90 odd years ago. The centre dial has a superb carved detailing with a pale green crackle effect colored highlighting behind silvered numerals. The hands, numerals and linear lines to the casing are chrome and in good vintage condition. Wind up mechanism means you don''t have to worry about balancing and timing pendulums. This is a good sized clock and would make a real focal point to a mantel piece or maybe sideboard or desk.
