Good quality early 19th Century Grand Tour Neoclassical patinated bronze travelling campaign inkwell. The dome shaped lid surmounted by a cupid 'L'Amour Menašant' in the manner of Etienne-Maurice Falconet. Classical egg and dart edging with wonderful King Charles Spaniel dog head masks. Fluted body sitting on three lion paw feet and a stepped base. Great item. France, circa 1830.
