Description

We believe this could be French in origin.

It is a great fully working example of a 19th century hat measure/stretcher.

It is in full working order the measurements can be taken in inches and cm’s.

The measure is expanded and contracted by unscrewing the brass adjusting screw.

The wooden handle is most likely boxwood.

Depth 3.5 cm
