Description

An antique beech and elm spindle back Windsor armchair or farmhouse chair. The Windsor armchair has a spindle back and shaped arms raised on turned supports. The solid elm seat has a wonderful grain pattern and is raised on four turned legs with a double H stretcher support. The Windsor armchair has a good rich colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the seat and arms (pictured), but overall, the chair remains in good condition. The Windsor armchair remains structurally solid and sound with good tight joints. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. A rather good example.
