Full pile, all original antique Genje rug from the Caucasus. Handspun wool and 100% vegetable derived dyes, this is a remarkable survivor in outstanding condition. The classic repeating mewling gun field design, enclosed by an ivory 'Wine cup and leaf' border.

This charming village rug should last another 100 years with some care. Beautiful, warm colours, with just enough corrosion in the black dye to throw the other colours into gentle relief. A very good price is on this rug, so grab a bargain while you can!
