Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The chest has an arrangement of two short over two long graduating drawers, each fitted with polished brass handles. There are decorative reeded canted corners to either side of the drawers, The Georgian mahogany chest is raised on ogee bracket feet. Excellent rich colour and patina throughout and of neat proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top (pictured). There is an honest historic repair to the front right-hand corner of the top (pictured). The Georgian mahogany chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers running well. A good quality piece of Georgian furniture.
