Antique Victorian Six Plank Pine Trunk

A well-proportioned antique Victorian six plank pine trunk or blanket box. The six plank pine trunk is of rectangular form and has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box to the left-hand side. The original iron handles remain to each side. Raised on small block feet. Excellent colour and patina throughout and of neat proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top (pictured). The six plank pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. The hinges, handles, and lock plate all appear original. There is no key present. A particularly nice example with good colour and patina throughout.
