Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The brass handles and pierced upper gallery are beautifully made, and this is a very useful size. There is a generous working space when the flap is pulled down, and lots of storage in the lower drawers which have tulip wood cross banded edges.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
