Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The top lifts up and slides back to reveal a fitted interior. To the interior there is a pull out writing surface and a pull out stationary holder with ink pots. To either side of the stationary holder are small pigeon holes. The makers mark is embossed in to the leather on the right hand side and also to the brass lock plate on the fall front. The metamorphic wring desk is raised on four tapering legs each with inlaid detail. A good quality piece of Edwardian antique furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age related marks, scratches and staining to the top (pictured). The writing surface and leather is worn (pictured). The metamorphic writing desk remains structurally solid and sound with the mechanism working well.
