Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The base of the mahogany glazed bookcase has two cushion moulded drawers above two blind panel cupboard doors. The cupboard doors open to reveal a single shelf. There are decorative barley twist half pilasters to either side of the doors. The Victorian mahogany glazed bookcase is raised on a plinth base. This item separates at the mid-point for ease of transport and movement. Complete with working lock and key for the top section.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the surface top and cupboard door fronts (pictured). There is also some fading to the base. The glazed doors remain intact with no apparent cracks or breaks. Overall, a rather good example of an antique Mahogany glazed bookcase.
