Description

This Anglo-Indian camphor wood trunk has been made from well figured timber and has a good mellow patina. It has military style brass protective corner straps with iron carrying handles to both ends and dovetailed joints. The lid lifts to reveal a useful storage area with a candle box to one side. The trunk has a brass escutcheon with working lock and key. It has a few battle scars associated with age and travel that add to its character. Would make an ideal coffee table Dimensions:- Width…39’’/ 99cm. Depth…18’’/ 45.5cm. Height…18’’/ 45.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45.
