The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement is signed with the Minerva mark and 17 jewels, 4 adjustments, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has light surface marking from use and some light wear to the bottom of the back by the hinge but overall it is in nice condition. The front cover has a small acrylic lens surrounded by blue enamel filled Roman numerals. The case back has monogrammed initials.

The front cover is opened by pushing the winding crown. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.
The white enamel dial has several very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition. Note the special hour hand for half hunter watches, so that the hands can be distinguished between when the front cover is closed.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
