Inlaid Mahogany and Amboyna Writing Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A splendid Edwardian period inlaid mahogany writing desk. Very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. Embellished with inlaid Amboyna banding and panels and inlaid boxwood stringing throughout. The superstructure with a series of 4 stationary drawers. The table with a pair of drawers and an inset sumptuous green leather writing surface. All drawers fitted with their original solid brass handles. All standing on tapering square legs which terminate in spade feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
