The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
An iron red double scalloped border inside the rim.

It measures 6.4cm (2 1/2") high and 6.2cm (2 7/16") rim to rim.
Condition is very good: there are 2 small chips on the inside edge of the foot rim and 2 other underglaze nicks from manufacture. Other manufacturing imperfections are a scratch across the flutes just above the foot to the right of the handle and a small darkened piece of erroneous clay to the handle. Minimal handling wear; enamels and gilding are all good.
