Art Deco 0.50 Carat Old Pear Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1925

1900 - 1920
Description

A striking old pear cut diamond set in a simple and sympathetic platinum mount. The wonderfully unique stone is secured in a custom made four claw collet, with six (three each side) eight cut diamond set in the milgrained shoulders leading to a slim D-shaped platinum shank. A delightfully different ring.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309721).

Cut – Old pear cut

Colour – I (G to I in the shoulders).

Clarity – VS2 (VS2 in the shoulders).

Carat – 0.50 carat in the centre (with a further (approx.) 0.03 carat in the shoulders).

Circa – 1925.

Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 6.15 x 4.55mm and sits 5.25mm from the finger.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
