The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Gilt border either side of the rim, above the foot and as a stripe down the back of a handle. Red painted mark, c.1820.

It measures 6.2cm (2 1/2") high to the rim (8.2cm (3 1/4") to the handle) and 6.5cm (2 9/16") rim to rim.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. The is some fine crazing and little light discolouration mainly to the handle and across the rim. A small firing line on the inside of the base from manufacture. Very light handling wear.
