Description

A lovely late 19th century antique oak folding campaign desk. The folding campaign desk opens to reveal tooled inset leather writing surface. The desk is raised on an x-frame base. There is a maker’s badge to the inside reading ‘Best London Make’. The folding campaign desk has a wonderful pale oak colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the wooden frame and to the leather writing surface (pictured). There is an honest historic repair to one of the legs (pictured). This does not affect the integrity of the piece. A good quality piece of antique campaign furniture with a lovely rich colour. There is no key present but the folding campaign desk is unlocked.
