Two Loftus Pewter Tankards with Brass Rims

1900 - 1920
Description

A Quart and a Pint pewter tankards by Loftus of London with brass rims at the top.

The taller tankard is marked QUART with a stamp that reads: E symbol of a crown R, underneath is 21, then LCC and the number 9 underneath. Under the base is the trade mark LOFTUS LONDON

It measures 15cm in height, 17.5cm at the widest part and the diameter of the brass rimmed top is 10cm.

The shorter tankard is marked PINT and has the stamp: E crown R, with 360 underneath, and under that - LLC and 09.

Under the base is the trade mark W R LOFTUS LTD LONDON

The Pint tankard measures 11.5cm in height, 14cm across at the widest part and has a 8.5cm in diameter brass rimmed top.

Both are in very good condition with no signs of damage or repair.
