Antique Burr Walnut Sofa Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful antique English Queen Anne style drop leaf sofa table in burr walnut, which I would date from around the 1930’s period.

It has a stunning design and is of amazing quality. The drop down ends and base all have serpentine shaped edges, which give this a very elegant look. There are gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns throughout, and this is nicely finished on the back as well, so can be used as a free standing piece.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.

Width open – 8 inches , 147 cm

Depth – 23 inches , 59 cm

Height – 29 inches , 74 cm
