Description

Exceptional William IV mahogany three tier dumb waiter by the acclaimed Irish cabinet makers William & Gibton of Dublin c.1835. Of striking design and superb quality, in solid mahogany throughout. Three shelves of graduated depth (16"/18"/20") with raised sides, on flared ends with a simple shaped tops, a moulded edge front and rear and quarter roundel brackets at the base. Square plinths raised on crisp turned bun feet with the original brass castors recessed below. Stamped for Williams & Gibton together with the serial number 43530. Some old wear to the top shelf, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
