Really superb collectors rug, with so many unusual features- great colour, great drawing, great weave. A piece to fall in love with, hang on the wall and admire for decades, never getting tired of.

Double inscribed with the word 'Allah' meaning God, mirrored in the middle and underneath is an illegible date inscription that starts with a '12'. Most likely a mid nineteenth century rug, putting it into the extremely rare category for tribal Kazaks.
