An excellent example of these collectable screw type pocket nutcrackers...it is made of Boxwood and is beautifully decorated all over with ''drilled'' roundels, nulling and hearts.... I really like the use of small acorns for the finials at each end....this one is also unusual to be so large in size with an overall length of 4.5'' (11.50cms).....usually attributed to Switzerland, France or Germany.....excellent colour & condition....
