Pair of large Noritake ‘Camels’ vases, c. 1925. Both vases hand painted with a continuous evening desert scene, of Arabian huntsmen riding camels before a large tent, beneath palm trees, with pyramids, and mountains in the background. The panel set upon a cobalt blue ground, decorated with raised gilding. Both vases, with angular handles, gilded with acanthus leaves.

Printed factory marks to the bases.

Condition - Typical wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
