Small Antique English Sterling Silver Hip Flask - Birmingham 1901

Description

The perfect pocket-sized hipflask or liquor flask made from English sterling silver and hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, Edwardian in era; the makers initials are also present J W.

The lid is a bayonet fitting requiring a quarter turn and lift to open, the interior of the top is fitted with a cork, to stop the precious contents evaporating.

The front has a circular raised cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith should you with to personalize it.

The size is wonderful to pop in the pocket measuring 3 7/8" tall x 2 1/4" wide.
