Georgian Mahogany Sideboard Circa 1795

18th century
Description

Fine Scottish George III serpentine fronted mahogany and inlaid stage back sideboard raised on square tapered legs. Fitted with deep double celarette drawer to left, centre cutlery drawer and two drawers to right. All oak lined and with original brass handles. The stage back with cupboards to each end. Inlaid with shells to top legs, and fans in shaped frieze and boxwood line inlay to top and drawer fronts. All in fine original condition. Fine colour with great waxed patina.

Size; 72" wide,. 37" high PLUS 6.5" stage back, 27.5" deep at centre
