Georgian Oak Longcase Clock Circa 1775

18th century
Description

Good George III oak longcase clock with 8 day striking movement by Joseph Booth of Sandwich having finely engraved brass and silvered dial with crown spandrels. The oak case all in fine original condition with hardly a repair. Later brass finials to hood. The movement has just been fully overhauled and is in full working order. The case a lovely medium oak colour with fine waxed patina. Comes with all keys.

Size; 83" high overall, 19" wide at hood, 9.5" deep.
