The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch, 1961.
The watch has a 24-jewel automatic movement, calibre 552, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 18,571,850 dates it back to 1961.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The inside of the screw-on case back has the Omega triangular logo together with the case reference 14761 61 SC which is correct for the 552 calibre, and it confirms the date of manufacture as 1961.

The winding crown is signed with the Omega logo.
The lens is the Omega lens, with the tiny clear Omega logo to the centre.
The signed dial has its original hands although the seconds sweep is a later replacement.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
