Description

A beautiful Victorian necklace of glittering hexagonal faceted quartz beads on hand-twisted silver links to form a stunning extra-long chain. The beads really are incredible - bright and clear as crystal with a sparkle which is hard to do justice in photos! The necklace secures with a tiny Albert-style dog clip which makes it easy to wear the chain single or doubled.

In very good antique condition; the fastening clip does not spring back once opened but is easily nudged with a fingernail to be securely closed. Some of the silver is slightly brighter in colour, possibly indicating replacement links, but they are so well done it's difficult to tell.

Length: 34.5 inches (approx 88cm). Each quartz is unique but on average they vary in width between 7 and 10mm, graduating down to the smaller beads toward the ends of the chain.
