Description

Stunning, beautifully made, serpentine edged centre table and desk inlaid with Walnut, Kingwood and Coromandel dating to the 1880s. The writing drawer in mahogany with rosewood facings, slots for pens, papers and inks, with a green leather writing surface. The whole covered in gilded ormolu mounts, standing on sweeping cabriole legs.

The table has been washed and waxed, and one of the ormolu plates has been remade. It has been conserved rather than restored by our workshop and so is in remarkable original condition.
