The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the name Rode Watch Co. The name was registered by Degoumois & Cie SA of Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1910. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some light rubbing from the outer cover.

The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is a 2 ounce case which has Birmingham hallmarks for 1929 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has some rubbing to the engine turned detail on the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The glass lens is in nice condition.
The dial is in good condition with only the minor marking.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
