Waltham Riverside full hunter pocket watch, 1908.

The watch has a good quality 19-jewel stem-winding movement, Riverside grade, which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates, Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision, screw set jewels and Church 1892 patent regulator. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 17,108,067 which dates it back to 1908.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Sun model from the Birmingham based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in good condition with just minor surface marking, nothing too serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover, it opens a little further than the usual 90 degrees. The crown should be pushed in again when closing the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
