Stunning vegetable dyes and a striking design of Lenkoran and Karadja medallions on the midnight blue field, mixing the cultures of North West Iran and Southern Caucasus beautifully. A charming polychrome rosette border on an ivory ground perfectly balances the composition. A highly collectable, very rare runner that is also in excellent condition and has great decorative qualities. Soft, shining wool, patinated through the ages simply glows.
