A Stunning Sterling Silver Lidded Powder Bowl

A fabulous late 19th Century silver mounted powder bowl. This unusual and delightful piece is of squat form with a superb Sterling silver repousse lid, featuring Art Nouveau flower buds and leaves. The interior of the lid is gilded and has a large engraved monogram. The superior jar is beautifully cut with strawberry diamonds and to the base is a multi point cut star. A quality and practical piece of dressing table ware, with a variety of uses. Dimensions below.
