Art Deco Burr Walnut & Leather Stool

1920 - 1940
Description

A large and beautiful original Art Deco period stool in burr walnut and leather. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

This is of magnificent quality & it is rare to find such a well made and substantial stool from this era.

The frame is sturdy and strong, with gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns. The leather seat is padded with horse hair, we have had the leather hand coloured and revived by our leather restorer.

This is in superb overall condition, we have had the walnut stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, there is no damage to be seen anywhere.

Depth – 20 inches , 51 cm

Height – 18 inches , 46 cm
