Here we have for sale today the most wonderful Georgian Period Lancashire Chest or Mule Chest.
 
Dating 1720 ish and all in solid oak, with this typical joint and peg construction of its time, all raised on these bracket feet, with this four panelled front, panelled sides, a hinged lid with this large storage interior, plus 2 drawers fitted with these brass swan-neck handles.
 
All with this Vernacular inlaid, having its original polish plus colour, its a wonderful rich oak colour, with a lovely polish.
 
This chest is solid in all its joints, and in excellent condition for its age.
