A very good late Victorian 9 carat gold & black enamel mourning ring, the oval disc with a central cross, claw set with six split pearls.
The shank beneath the shoulders with a band of finely woven hair.
Condition: In very good wearable condition, the enamel with little wear. Marks are readable. The left-hand pearl is a possible replacement and there are couple of hairline cracks to the nacre of one of the pearls. Some wear to the hallmarks.
Maker: H & S Birmingham 1879
Dimensions: Ring size N1/2. 20 x 20 x 8mm.
