Georgian Mahogany Work Table Circa 1800

Description

Fine quality Scottish Georgian figured mahogany drop flat work table with boxwood line inlay and fitted with two ash lined drawers with bag slide under. raised on attractive lyre ends onto shaped legs with brass claw casters and joined with wavy stretcher. All in superb original condition with hardy a blemish. Original brass knobs. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. (would have had a work bag under at one time).

Size; 31" high, 30" x 20" open, 16" x 20" closed.
