~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A rare and stunning original antique French clock set, in gilt bronze.
It has an elegant waisted, asymmetric case, decorated with flowing scrolls and acanthus. To the top is a large, elaborate Rococo finial.

Candelabra are conforming in style with bases mounted with enamel and surmounted by four lights supported by twirling entwined acanthus. The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with delicate floral swags between the numbers. It is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt hands and convex glass. The rear door is glazed with frosted glass.

The French movement is by Samuel Marti and is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with occasional wear, marks and discolouration. The enamel work is also excellent with no damage or losses. The dial is in excellent condition with no damage. Candelabra are slightly distorted.
