Antique Whitewood Sewing Box With Painted Lid & Drawer

An early Tunbridge ware white wood and painted rectangular sewing box. The sliding lid is painted with a mountainous river landscape with fishermen and buildings. this opens to reveal a replaced pink paper lined interior for storage of reels etc. There is a brass pin which pulls out to release a spring loaded drawer below. This drawer is lined with the original pink paper lining.
The box measures 21.5cm w x 8.5cm h x 12.5cm d.
