Description

A very good Victorian period burr walnut and marquetry inlaid 2 door side cabinet. The top having book matched figured walnut and kingwood cross banding with serpentine shaped front and sides. The conforming frieze with ormolu mounts and further kingwood cross banding. The canted corners and stiles with decorative mounts flanking 2 panelled doors with wonderful floral marquetry inlay within an ebony ground. The whole raised on a serpentine shaped plinth with further ormolu embellishments. Condition- Very good with original working brass lock with keys. Dimensions:- Height…39.5’’/ 100.5cm. Width…45.5’’/ 116cm. Depth…16.5’’/ 42cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
