An elegantly shaped and carved table.
We bring to you this fine example of a French occasional table believed to be made around C1900.
This table is made from solid timber featuring a moulded shaped top with 4 corner finals to the under freeze. The table stands on a beautifully turned pillar terminating to 4 carved and shaped cabriole legs. The table is solid, does not wobble and the top is free from bows or twists.
This table has a small overall form yet is versatile for use as an occasional table or to even be used as a breakfast table managing to comfortably seat 2 people (4 may be possible).
We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina by just carefully waxing this item to enhance the French polished surface and preserve it for many years to come.
This table is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
